350+ for a squier
mite as well get a sammick or pacifica
den i upgrade pickups bit by bit
by d time i get over upgrading it, i think i wud hav spent like almost 1 k.

Explorer.
or Stratocaster.
or digital drum pads?
hmm.
Explorer iz a model used by James Hetfield(Metallica).
Gd 4 metal n rock.
I play metal, especially Metallica songs.
So yeah an Explorer wud be nice.

My band duzn play metal.
Well, our vocalist thinks he cant sing metal.
N d rest juz thinks that metal sux.
So.. I cant relli buy an Explorer when my band's not playing metal rite?
N u dun expect me to use an Explorer to play punk? or stuff like creed etc..

Hmm k firstly i once said i dun like it.
Untill i started bcoming a fan of Malmsteen.
Coz u c, malmsteen uses a Fender Strat. Customised of course.
Wif a scalloped-neck n his model of pickups.
Iron Maiden's guitarists also use Fender Strats. 2 of em at least.
d third guy uses an esp if im not wrong.
K so k la its quite nice la.
but.
its plain.
n too common.
almost everyone in my school who owns an electric guitar uses a Strat.
Mayb not Fender or Squier.
Mayb sum other funny brands la.
but still they all look the same.

Fender Stratocasters r supposedly versatile.
Metal.Blues.Jazz.NeoClassical.
You name it.
But that's bcoz of d gd pickups rite?
If u buy a Squier u wun get d same pickups.
Duh. A Fender replacement pickup by diMarzio costs hundreds.
Thats y a Squier strat costs $300++, n a Fender one $1000++
so hmm den wads d point of buying a Squier if its not so good?
n ive heard ppl using Squier Strats to play metallica b4.
N no matter how good they r, d sound still sux.
K la not sux la, but not quite there.
Not heavy.
Of coz, u nid humbuckers 2 get dat kinda sound.
n MetalZone pedal la of coz.
but still single coiled pickups arent gd 4 metal la.
Iron Maiden is a diff story. They're speed metal.
U listen to them, u listen to Metallica.
especially d solos.
U can tell that they r in 2 diff leagues la.
like 2 diff genres.
single-coils, gd 4 speedy clean stuff.
humbuckers, more heavy n powerfull stuff.
so which one do i want?
N im not evn talking abt drumming yet lor.

Hmm but if i get 2 fix my LesPaul's neck n change d humbuckers, den i sure buy Squier Strat leadi.
coz les paul, if u get d rite humbuckers n equipments, r gd 4 metal.
